Jealousy?
Heather found it even funnier upon hearing it. What could she possibly be jealous of?
Nian Shen had nothing to do with her; why would she be jealous!
If it were Ah Nian, she might feel some jealousy.
Qu Leqi's noisy antics made Heather frown.
Just then, a white van suddenly stopped beside them, and Heather stepped back cautiously. Qu Leqi didn't know what was happening and froze for a moment, reflexively following Heather to step back a few paces.
The van door suddenly opened, and several burly men covered in tattoos jumped out, holding long steel pipes, menacingly.
Qu Leqi was scared and hid behind Heather, trembling: "Wha-wha-what do they want to do… Could they want to kidnap me?"
This stance… seems exactly like that!
"Oh… that's not my concern." Heather said as she pried Qu Leqi's hand off.
But the latter clung desperately to her arm, pleading in terror, "You can't do this! I am Mr. Nian's girlfriend!"
"So what? I'm Mr. Nian's bodyguard, not yours."
