So she thought, having stirred the entertainment industry upside down, Lake probably had no clue at all.
At least from his behavior, there was nothing indicating otherwise.
"Miss Xiao, where would you like to go?" In the car, Lake asked.
Xiao Man didn't answer but instead asked, "Has Mr. Li contacted you?"
"No," Lake answered truthfully, "The sir has been negotiating a batch of arms recently."
"En?"
"Sir ordered me to tell you this if Miss Xiao asked."
"Oh…" Xiao Man smiled.
It wasn't out of politeness.
She understood him. Since he let Lake tell her this, then he really was handling that matter.
Lake suddenly told her this probably because of her earlier question when she was asking about Li Sinian's whereabouts.
"Is it difficult? He hasn't come back for so long, hasn't he encountered any problems?" Xiao Man casually asked.
With Li Sinian's efficiency, handling such matters wouldn't require multiple visits unless he indeed encountered tricky issues.
