Jin Shangyu dropped Ye Jinyang off halfway, picked up Leng Xue, and got out of the car himself.
As they parted, Ye Jinyang tossed him a set of keys and said, "You go check out the house first. It's already been renovated. I'll head home and visit tomorrow. If there's anything needed, we'll buy it together."
He previously had Leng Xue find someone to arrange the house. It was spacious enough for the three of them.
Why say it's for three people? Well, Leng Xue could stay or not, but she needed to leave some things there as a cover, to prevent any suspicions.
Jin Shangyu took the keys, nodded, watched them leave, and then returned to the office.
In the car, Leng Xue was driving. Seeing Ye Jinyang's face occasionally adorned with a smile was something rare since she had been by his side.
She turned her head and asked Ye Jinyang, "Being with him, does it really feel that good? You seldom smiled before; now you seem much sunnier."
