"Surprised?"
He Longze looked at the little girl beside him. It was obviously one of the harshest times of early summer, but as soon as she sat next to him, he felt refreshed and pleasantly cool.
"Of course I'm surprised!" Ye Lantian laughed, staring at him for a while before continuing, "I thought I was seeing things. I didn't expect it to really be you. What a coincidence! You didn't let me thank you last time and said I should treat you to a meal. So when are you free? I'll treat you."
He glanced at his watch; ten minutes went by quickly.
He stood up and walked towards the students not far away, "In a bit. I don't have your school's cafeteria card. You can treat me then."
Ye Lantian ran after him, "Sure, let's go to the cafeteria together at noon."
After she finished speaking, she ran ahead of him into the lineup.
Just as she joined the group, Jin Shangyu tugged at her sleeve from behind and asked quietly, "Do you know him?"
