At South City Aristocrat High School, as the school gates open, a bunch of students in uniforms, youthful and energetic, walk out with their backpacks.
Ye Lantian is still in the classroom packing her textbooks, unsure if her brother would pick them up today or if he would send the driver.
She doesn't know, and hasn't received a call from her brother.
Seeing that her deskmate Jin Shangyu has packed up and is ready to leave with his backpack too.
Ye Lantian asks him, "Where does your family live? Are you going home?"
Jin Shangyu looks at her, gives a bold smile, and suddenly jumps to sit on her desk, propping his chin and asking, "Why? Do you want to invite me over to your house as a guest?"
"Hmm, the food at the Ye Mansion is really delicious, I'm craving it. How about you let me stay two more days?"
Ye Lantian rolls her eyes at him, packs all her textbooks into her backpack, and gets up to leave.
