He entered his best friend's house to see his son tied to a chair and his wife lying on the floor dead. As he went through the house it made him sick to his stomach, The smell was repulsive the smell of decaying flesh was so strong that it would make a normal person vomit. the site of it was a site where if you saw you would want to get rid of instant bodies around every turn, bodies that were part way rotted away and covered with flies and littered with maggots to the man it looked like a site straight out of hell.
Later after he had gone all the way through the house he managed to pull himself together enough to call the cops and report, that his friend and coworker had been killed and that he needed an ambulance for the boy who was barely still alive. The cops got there and took the story from the man about what he saw and what happened to the boy's family however the man could only tell them what he saw when he got there. As the cops talked to the man the ambulance arrived to take the boy to the hospital, The EMT walked up to where the cop and the man were talking saying that they needed the man to come to the hospital with the boy because they couldn't take the kid without an adult to sigh the papers and act as his legal guardian the cop let the man go with the kid letting him know that they would be in touch.
At the hospital, the man was informed that the boy had a broken arm and three broken ribs a fractured sternum, and a massive concussion he was covered in cuts and bites, and many of them were infected. The man paid the bills and went to the boy's room he was lying there turned over on his side crying, The man walked up to the bed. " What do you want to do Mark, Do you want to stay with me or want to go with the cops I would like to give you the choice." The man spoke in a low voice that was deep but remained with a sense of security. " However I know that you are having a lot of thoughts at the moment so I will come back later and give you a minute to collect your thoughts and figure out what you want to do now." He then turned and walked out.
Mark lay there on the bed thinking he didn't know any of his grandparents his mom nor dad had talked about their parents and they hadn't taken him to visit them, he didn't know if he had any aunts or uncles the only people he knows other then the people at school were three friends of his parents that always came to the house two men and one woman. The man who had shown up to the house after his parents got killed had been over many times with his father the man's name is Hendrick. He and the boy's father had known each other for many years but the boy did not know how long Hendrick had been visiting the house even before he was born his mom told him all the time.
Hendrick was a 6 foot 3 man who was very muscular he had pale skin that made him look like he did not go outside much. He had long black hair that covered one of his eyes and he had one large snake tattoo running up his arm the look of him scared most of the kids at Mark's school who looked at him. Though it wasn't the look of him that scared them the most it was the scars that covered his body. they were large-looking scars that were covered with bandages most of the time so that he didn't scare the kids that hung out with Mark when Hendrick was over at Mark's house.
As Mark was thinking a cop was walking into the room he walked up to the boy's bed to ask him questions. Mark told the cop all that happened that night and the three days that there was no contact with him or his parents. After the conversation with the cop, Mark asked the nurse to call Hendrick because he had a question that would determine his answer to Hendrick's question. As Hendrick entered the room Mark was sitting up in the bed Hendrick approached the bed to hear the question that Mark had. Mark without looking at Hendrick asked. " Can you help me get the strength to get revenge, because all I want is to KILL THOSE POMPUSE FUCKS WHO KILLED MY PARENTS, if you can do that then I will go with you?" Hendrick responded as light-voiced as he could as he said " I can".
