Its surface was covered in thick, golden, tempting honey that exuded a sweet and enveloping aroma. Various spices and herbs were perfectly distributed across it, creating such an appetizing appearance that it was almost disturbing. That meat looked far too good, far too refined, to exist in such a miserable and impoverished environment—it was simply impossible that a child could have obtained something like that honestly.

That very thought crossed the mother's mind the instant her eyes began to tremble violently. Her body reacted before she could even organize her thoughts: her hand started to shake, and a terrifying realization took shape in her heart.

"Son… how… where did you get this?" she asked, her voice faltering, trembling, filled with dread.
