The two stood at the center of the circle.
They were both Selvagians. One of them had claws from which sharp metallic blades extended; the other was enveloped in intense radiant energy and wielded a long metal staff, as if ready to strike any enemy nearby.
Both were visibly wounded and exhausted, yet still struggling to resist. Surrounding them were numerous creatures: regular Selvagians, High Selvagians, twisted monsters, and extremely dangerous Chimeras. In addition, heavy weapons and surveillance systems were aimed directly at them.
Some of the creatures bore light wounds; others had severe or even fatal injuries. This showcased the admirable resilience of the two young warriors. But despite all efforts, the outcome was inevitable. Their end seemed sealed.
"Surrender, young ones," said a cold, authoritative voice.
The rabbit-girl took a deep breath. Her body glowed with a bright aura and underwent a more intense transformation.
