A/N: This is my current knowledge of what the Herrschers and Cocoon of Finality are. If I'm wrong anywhere, then don't hesitate to comment, as I'll fix it later.

-3rd POV-
Herrschers.
What are they? Where do they come from?
Well, basically, they come from the Cocoon of Finality.
The Cocoon of Finality used to be a planet with people on it, just like any other planet.
The only difference was that they were more advanced, and somehow, someway, the people of the planet evolved and merged with their planet. When they merged with the planet, they became a singular entity with godly powers.
But with godly power there also comes godly loneliness. And so, it traveled across dimensions and universes, trying to find or create an entity like itself.
And guess what? It chose the latter.
Why do you think it was fucking around with humanity in the Honkai Impact universe? It was to see who could embrace humanity and become something like it, whatever that means in the first place.
The Herrschers are merely a test and reset for us in case the current generation fails to produce one. Destroy the current era and wait for the new one to rise to give it a new test.
That is also the reason why the Honkai only appeared twice throughout human history in the Honkai universe: the previous era of the 13 flame chasers, and the new era of Kiana Kaslana.
Now that I've explained what the Honkai are and where they come from, I think it's time to explain the second thing: Honkai energy itself. I really don't know where it comes from or where it originates exactly, but I do have a theory. It's the energy of the Imaginary Tree, literally the thing that holds our infinite number of universes together.
The energy can do anything, whether it's creating stuff out of anything or creating incredibly strong fire that could potentially wipe out entire planets, even universes.
Let's not forget that, despite the Cocoon of Finality being an extremely powerful and old entity, it still doesn't match up to the Imaginary Trees' power.
In fact, I theorize that the Cocoon of Finality was given its method to evolve by the tree itself.
Why the hell do you think it hasn't done anything about the Cocoon of Finality in the first place? Because the cocoon is its gardener that cuts off bad branches from the tree.
If it doesn't have the potential, then why keep it? I don't know if it's true or not, as it's just a theory, A GAME THEORY!
Sorry about that, couldn't help it~ But that's a theory that I can stand by.
The tree destroys universes in its search for a partner in the lonely multiverse, and at the same time, it cuts off any universe that fails.
If the Cocoon of Finality didn't work with the tree, then how do you think it knew how to create a new universe for Otto to make a universe where Kallen didn't die? I'm sure as hell that the cocoon of finality didn't tell Otto the method just because it's old and wise.
Of course, I didn't tell Kevin or the others about the Honkai impact universe and only told them what the [Cocoon of Finality] was, the [Herrschers], the [Imaginary Tree], and the [Sea of Quanta].
I could already see their faces becoming pale (With the sole exception of Elysia and Aponia) when I told them that catastrophic beings were going to be pulling up on our universe.
Though Kalpas has a huge grin on his face, the psycho probably wants to fight them.
"Sooo whatcha think?" I ask casually as if I hadn't just informed them about the world's impending doom.
"I think that I'll need some rest after this," Kevin sighed as he slumped into his chair.
Looks like the Honkai thing really took it out of him. I don't blame them, though, as the info I just gave them is something most of the universe doesn't know. In fact, the only reason I know all this is because I played and liked reading lore about Honkai Impact and have a memory orb of him.
"Well, now that we have finished the hard part, it's time for the second part."
Kevin raised his eyebrow, "W-what is it?" It seemed like he was scared to ask.
"A tour, of course~."
""A tour?"" They all asked in confusion.
"Look out the window," I told them.
They seemed confused as to why, but they nodded and did as they were told.
Their faces went wide in shock as they saw what was outside, or more like under us.
The town of Kuoh.
"Why is Kuoh under us? I don't remember Kuoh having any building that's this high!" Asked Mei.
"Who said it's a building?"
Their eyes went wide as I tapped a button on my desk, which showed a bird's-eye view hologram of the camouflaged Hyperion, which was casually stationed above Kuoh. My Hyperion is different from the one in Honkai Impact, as it is a blend of state-of-the-art technology and magic. The magic is mostly in its defenses and concealments, which make it invisible to all.
"Welcome to the Hyperion battleship, Amphibious Assault Aircraft Carrier, or you can just call it Hyperion, Schicksal's aerial HQ."
They soon returned to watch the window out in amazement, just like a little kid would when finding the most interesting thing they had ever seen in their short lives.
Quite cute, I must say.
-Scene Change-
After that, I led the new team around, and they followed me around like kids who were in Disneyland. They asked what things were and what they did. Curiosity got the better of Pardofelis a few times and nearly blew up her head.
It was quite amusing seeing her trying to steal things, but each time her watch would warn me, and I would reprimand her.
"Come on, you can't expect me not to touch anything in here! Any simple gadget of yours could make me millions!" She exclaimed as her pupils practically turned into money signs.
"Yes, but that's Schicksal property. Due to your behavior, your salary for this month will be reduced by fifty percent."
"Wait, we have a salary?" Asked Kevin in surprise.
"Of course, let me send you the first month in advance." I clicked some buttons on my watch until a ding sound came out of their watches.
"W-what? How many zeros are there?" Asked Pardofelis with an incredulous expression as she looked at Kevin's e-check.
"Y-yeah, even my dad doesn't make this much a month," Added Mei with a nod.
Imagine how rich the Mangaka of some of the most famous manga in the world is? It's a lot, right? Well, let's not forget that I'm the mangaka for MULTIPLE famous manga. I'm quite rich, especially for orphans like them and me.
I also sold some simple custom technology to old man Azazel, which helped him with his sacred gear research.
Hehehe~ Azazel would cuss me out if he figured out that I gave him some of our severely outdated analysis technology for so much money.
We also have a bunch of companies under Azza's name, mine, and my other friends. Brainwashing is one hell of a useful tool, especially when you need to get past many laws.
By the way, they also live in an orphanage, except Mei, who's the daughter of the owner of a small technology company.
Quite the funny coincidence, right?
She's like Dr. Mei, except with the background of Raiden Mei. Well, there's still her twin sister she doesn't know about, so she might be more like Raiden Mei.
"Wait, my salary was cut in half!? I was wrong, boss, don't reduce my salary!" Pardofelis knelt before me and latched onto my leg, begging me not to deduct her money.
"Hoh, begging now? Sorry, but that's that. I hope you think about your actions next time." I replied without a care.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Pardofelis dropped to her knees as she cried in despair.
All of us chuckled as we looked at the despairing Pardofelis.
"Well, there's a lot more to check out, so follow me."
