While the whole world reacted to recent events and others made plans against him, Matthew grabbed a dark cloak, hung a sword from his waist, put on large leather boots and ordinary clothes, and set out on a long journey on foot.
Since arriving in this world, he had rarely been able to enjoy adventure, so this time he wanted to enjoy it thoroughly. Besides, he couldn't fly or travel in carriages or anything like that right now, because he would be discovered, so he took advantage of this as the perfect excuse to venture out.
He had several plans for the journey, with one ultimate goal. The ultimate goal was no mystery; he wanted to strengthen his body, and although there were many ways to do so while in his own territory, he knew they weren't the best options.
He needed to learn the Path of the Destroyer, and there were no better practitioners of that way than dragons.
