Charlotte turned to look at him. "Me?" she asked.
"Obviously. You're the best among us at leading troops, aren't you?"
"Uh... Since when am I good at leading troops?"
"You're the best strategist I've ever met, you know?" Matthew glanced at her sideways as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Sigh." She sighed visibly, knowing that Matthew was simply relegating things to her. "You'll be the one to speak for me," she said, putting her hood back on to hide her human features.

After an hour of moving around inside the city, where they were taken to different parts to get acquainted and also to take a look at the armies, they gathered by the sea, on the other side of the mountains.
The crowd was astonishing; even Matthew hadn't expected this Clan to have so many people in its army. Although they weren't as powerful as the Allen Clan's armies, they did have admirable strength, but even more than that, they had a vast array of weapons at their disposal.
