The soilder took to their hill with a massive explosion rocketing the tree everywhere.
Some of the soilders that couldn't get out of the area of the explosion was twisted into weird shapes in a horrifying way.
The wave caused by the explosion,
with the same speed as it came rapidly shrank back then disappeared.
Leaving the mingled body of the soilders and trees.
"What was that?"
Sam one of the soilders asked will carrying his bloody hand which was twisted in a weird angle,
fear written all over his face.
John still disoriented.
" answered the confused soilder.
"That was a new technology of the organization called silent stone.
It's still under test runs.
The boy must have grabbed it when he took the rune from the vault and by the look of it he's definitely dead.
Sam still confused asked
"Why is it called the silent stone if it made such a massive sound when it explode"
"That's because if you where in the middle of that twisting wave you won't even here the sound of you own scream.
"You see when the wave comes,
it twists everything.
even sound and space,
so for you outside you heard a sonic boom but for people inside the wave.
they heard nothing. John explained. Before turning to the rest of the soilders.
"We need to find his body and get out of this place.
he said while looking into the crack that was still flickering with lightning, only this time the lightning was converging to a single point.

Zylla thought to himself then dipped his hand into his pants pocket,
To bring out more of the white stones he threw at the soilders.

A sharp sound of something breaking rang out in the otherwise silent abyss.
An then an inhumane Shriek tore through the air.
It was so loud that the soilders still at the cliff heard the scream.
"What was that?" One of the soilders asked while tending to his wounded leg.
"I don't know but but it came from the crack John answered with a thoughtful look.
Everyone garder your things let's move.
"Sam which way to the bottom of the chasm?" John asked.
Sam pulled out a triangle device from his breast pocket, "300 metres to the right there's a slope we can use to get to the bottom.
"Ok you heard him boys move out !
John commanded with an indifferent look.
Inside the chasm
Pain.... One word pain that was how zylla would describe how he was feeling right now.
Everything was fine until the rune cracked.
He already thought about how he will die
He will immediately die when he hit the ground and the pain will be for two to ten seconds and then he will die.
But after the rune cracked a purple and red fog gushed out of the rune before rushing into every pore on his body causing him to feel extreme pain.
Every cell in his body was getting ripped to a million pieces before being reconstructed again only to brake apart again.
if someone was observing zylla right now they will see him explode. Into a blood mist before regenerating again,
repeatedly.
This happened for a few minutes and when he thought the pain has ended the lightning floating around started rushing into him causing the already horrific pain to intensify
then he fainted.
The purple red fog floating around him began converging around him to form a massive cocoon,
even the white stones in his hand began breaking apart before fussing with the cocoon

A massive piller of black light flew out of the abyssal crack,
connecting the world together.
With that a rumble so intense that it spread all over the world as if a slumbering machine has started working again was heard.
Then all hell broke loose.
The world started started slowing expanding growing larger at an increasing pace.
With cracks appearing from time to time filled with horrifying creatures that you wouldn't wish to appear in someone's night mare filling the cracks
The monsters jumping into cities with mad glee as they slaughtered everything in sight.
Then came the gates a vortex of of lightning and and wind appearing all over the world this time it wasn't filled with horrifying creatures but mythical and and legendary creatures.
some humans awakening all kind of supernatural powers to fight these creatures.
These humans were later called the ascenders.
Inside the chasm
The cocoon had already reached fifty meters withe the lightning flickering around it already pitch black in colour and multiple runes of different colours rotating around it after about 30 minutes the cocoon started shrinking causing the space around it to fracture and tear then the cocoon disappeared before space around the region began slowly mending itself.
