Kyra threw the shuttlecock gently to Vinecnt, who returned it with surprising ease. His movements were fluid and graceful, each hit precise and controlled. He looked incredibly handsome as he played, his focus and concentration making him seem even more charming.
"You're a natural," Kyra said, impressed.
Vinecnt shrugged modestly, "Just following your instructions."
They continued to rally back and forth, Vinecnt growing more comfortable with each hit.
Kyra, however, was not having as much luck. Despite her best efforts, she kept slipping on the snow and missing the shuttlecock.
At one point, Kyra slipped and fell again, landing softly in the snow. Lucas, Damon, and Vinecnt rushed to her side.
Damon reached out first and offered his hand. "Here, let me help you," he said, pulling her up gently. As Kyra stood, she stumbled again and fell against Damon's chest. He caught her, his strong arms steadying her. "Careful now," he said softly, his eyes meeting hers.
