Chapter 59 - Chapter Fifty-Nine

The next day I was laying on the couch dozing off and on. Suddenly I felt someone shaking my shoulder. I slowly blinked my eyes open and then looked up to see Raiven leaning over me. "Daddy?"

"You got a guest Lil bit." He told me as he straightened up.

I sat up as I looked around confused. "I do?"

He nodded as he stepped back to give me room to stand. "Who is it?"

Raiven walked toward the door. "You will see. They are in the office."

The office? Must be important. We headed that way. I opened the door to find dad.

"Dad? Why are you here?" I asked as I rounded the desk to sit in my chair.

Dad looked up at me and smiled. "I found her."

Already? That was fast. Just yesterday I asked him to look for her. "That was fast."

Dad nodded. "Yeah but it's understandable. She's part of the pack."

"Oh? Nice. Did you talk to her?"

"Yes. I asked her to come here in a bit."

I nodded. "Ok. I would like to talk to her. When will she be here?"

Dad looked down at his watch. "In a few minutes." He said just as the doorbell rang.

I looked up at Raiven. He nodded and then left the room. He came back with a young woman behind him. She had shoulder length black hair that was in small braids.

"Alphas, Luna." She bowed to us.

I nodded and gestured for her to sit next to dad. "Thanks for coming on short notice."

"It's my pleasure if I could help you any way I can." She said as she sat down.

I looked up at Raiven. He handed me the book from last night. I opened it up to her page and slid it toward her. "I've been looking for a game artist. Then I found your page in this book."

She looked down at the book. "I see. I have been looking for a job. What can I do for you?"

I smiled. Just what I was looking for. She seems loyal. Wouldn't backstab her employer. "I'm about to go into my second year of college. I need someone at the office that is on my side. Someone to keep the others in line when I'm not around."

She looked up at me surprised. "You trust me? Even if you just met me?"

I nodded. "From the look of you you were originally from Raiven's pack. They don't keep people that could not be trusted." I smiled up at Raiven.

She nodded. "True. So I'm basically your right hand woman?"

"Haha." I laughed. "I like that. Yes you will be my right hand woman."

"Sweetheart, Dear. I'm home." We then heard yelling up the stairs.

I facepalmed. "Of course he would yell that." I mumbled. "Raiven. Stop that duffus."

He nodded with a chuckle and left the room.

"Sorry about that. It seems like my second mate is home." I look apologetic at Waverly.

"Haha. Of course." She laughed.

Soon Raiven and Aiden walked into the room. Instead of making a fuss they both stood behind me. I smiled.

"There is one more thing you need to know. I'm pregnant. Not many know. Just my family and mates. I am eight weeks along." I made the decision to let her know. "For personal reasons I can't go to the office for now. Dad can introduce you to the rest of the team tomorrow."

I stood up and walked around the desk and extended my hand to her. "Thanks for coming today. Welcome to the team Waverly."

Just as she was about to walk out the door it slammed open. "Daddy. Why didn't you tell me you were going to see Keke?"

I sighed and facepalmed. "Dad." I said warningly. I didn't need my little sister disturbing a meeting.

Dad sighed and stood up. "Lorina. You shouldn't have come here. We were in the middle of a meeting."

Lorina hung her head. "I'm sorry. I thought you were just coming to see him."

Dad pulled her into his arms. "If that was the case I would've brought you with me."

Lorina buried her head into dad's neck and clung to him. "I'm sorry daddy. I just miss Keke."

Dad ran his hand through Lorina's hair. "I know pumpkin. But now isn't the time to see him. He's having some personal issues."

I crouched down in front of Lorina. I placed my hand on her head and looked into her eyes. "I'm sorry little one. I haven't been feeling well. I told dad to not let you come over until I was better. Once I'm better we can go on a date. What do you say?"

Lorina nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, yes Keke."

I laughed as she started jumping up and down. "Ok little one. We will go on a date. Just you and I. All day long."

She threw her arms around my neck. "I can't wait, Keke."

I put my hands on her shoulders and pushed her away a bit and looked deeply into her eyes. "You have to be careful with me from now on little one."

Lorina tilted her head. "Why?"

I smiled. "You're going to be an aunt."

"An aunt? What's that?"

Oh yeah. She's only 6. She wouldn't know what that is. "The sibling of whoever has a child is the aunt or uncle of the child."

Lorina put her finger to her chin. "Since you said I'm going to be an aunt does that mean…"

My smile got bigger. "I'm pregnant. So for the next nine months you have to be careful."

Lorina tilted her head again. "Pregnant?"

I took her hand and placed it on my flat belly. "It means there is a baby growing in my belly. In the coming few months my belly is going to grow."

She stared at my belly, trying to wrap her mind around the info. "Ok Keke. I'll be careful."

I kissed her forehead. I wasn't sure if she understood what I said. Even so, I know she will abide by her words. She won't do anything that would hurt me. "Thanks little one. We don't want to do anything to hurt the baby."

She stared into my eyes. Soon she nodded. She understood that. "Yes. Keke. I'll do anything to help you."

"Aww. Thanks little one. I am going to need help in the last few months. Now. Go home with dad and behave."

"Ok, Keke." She then left the room with dad. I looked over at Waverly. "Sorry about that. I basically raised her so she's attached to me. She hasn't seen me in a month."

Waverly smiled. "I understand. That was so cute. She's adorable."

I placed a hand on my belly and smiled. "That she is. I hope my own little one will be just as adorable."

Raiven and Aiden each placed a hand on one of my shoulders. I smiled up at them. "Knowing who their fathers are, they must be."

They smiled down at me. "Their mommy is pretty. They will definitely be good looking."

Waverly giggled. "That's true. The fathers are handsome and the mom is pretty. The baby will definitely be good looking."
