A baby's cry prompted Viola to look in the direction of the second floor, where the children's playpen was located.
She gracefully stood up from the couch and headed to the stairs, subconsciously rubbing her abdomen.
Viola was only six weeks pregnant, so she had yet to have any visible bulge in her abdomen. But soon, it would show up. The mere idea of it made her feel both happy and anxious at the same time.
She had stepped down from her position as a captain of the Valkyries a few weeks ago after discovering her pregnancy.
It wasn't a difficult choice, especially now that the world was more stable than ever before.
