After that, the next morning at 6 o'clock, Hoshi and his friends (minus Reo and Paula) were hailed as heroes of the barangay, much to their overwhelming shock. A few small media outlets also showed up to cover the whole story. Despite not participating in the battle with the now-banished aswang, Reo and Paula were proud of their relatives and their friends. The reporters of the small media outlets wanted comments from Hoshi and his friends, while some of the residents who were victims of the aswang were grateful for their heroism in stopping the aswang in their community. Some police officers and almost all of the barangay tanods and their captain are also at the scene. Those who had luckily seen the battle last night gave their accounts to the police and barangay tanods.
The scene was hectic, and Hoshi, who didn't want to share about Kuro, and his group did their best to respond to the reporters' questions while remaining confidential about Kuro. Kuro was watching this from Hoshi's subconscious. Lilibeth and her family were happy for Hoshi and his friends helping in their community.
