The journey of The Adventurer through the ocean of energy was characterized by silence. As it 'swam' forward, it was difficult to tell if the silence that accompanied it was more oppressive, or if the scintillating 'water' of the depths was more beautiful and attractive.
The silence was not only prevalent outside, but also inside of the relatively small spaceship. To be precise, it was the interior of the vessel that was steeped in a silence that stagnated under the weight of the moving currents insulated by the overclocked shield cloaking it.
At that moment, three of the four passengers inside were on the bridge, missing only the now pale-haired mistress of the "house". On the seats on either side of the main one were, unsurprisingly, Hannah, the adopted Specter family member, and Jack Schneider, the add-on to the group.
