Darcina looked up from her communicator. Her purple eyes held a smile that felt happy, but also carried a meaning only she was privy to. Looking down again, she manipulated her communicator, and the one at Estrella's wrist rang with a soft sound of notification.
Estrella looked down to see the reason for the notification, then looked back up at the princess. The gloom she had noticed in her demeanor up to the start of the ceremony that had ended not long ago had faded away, along with the sense of urgency after the golden seat of honor had remained empty even as the event reached an end.
The sky-blue eyes only glanced at the purple-eyed princess, then turned to Lucas. Estrella raised her hand to show him the message she received.
Turning away from the view from the balcony of the youngest princess's palatial residence, Lucas raised his eyebrows at the message, then tilted his head back with a deep smile, emptying the content of his glass down his esophagus.
