Kane sighed.
"Now, I don't know. I am not your father.
If not for the situation, I would never have used it.
You know me. I prefer using my own strength."
He paused for a moment, then took out a crystal sphere.
More than a quarter of it was dark in color, like it had been stained.
"I infuse qi into this artifact. That lets me control it.
But as you can see, it is corrupted now."
He knew something must have happened to trigger another mutation and cause this state.
However, his knowledge about such things was almost nonexistent, so he could not be sure.
"Uncle Kane, can you show me what they look like?" Emily asked.
She was curious and also wanted to memorize the creature's appearance.
"Sure."
Kane took out another device and activated it. A hologram appeared in the air.
The creature looked like a dinosaur with a long neck.
Its head was that of a dragon, but it had no wings.
Instead, a huge flower grew from its back.
The flower could spew out many types of gas.
