Her stomach twisted.
In her past lives, mutated cockroaches had been one of those disasters that seemed almost impossible to completely eradicate. Like mutated rats, they survived almost everything, multiplied like mad, and relied on sheer numbers to overwhelm living creatures.
They didn't need to be stronger than their prey.
They only needed enough of them.
They would swarm a living target from every direction, crawl over its body, tear into its flesh, and keep eating even while their victim was still screaming.
And now these things had mutated further.
They even possessed a dark attribute. That alone made the situation considerably more troublesome.
Kisha felt a cold lump settle in her throat.
For one brief moment, she seriously considered blowing the entire basement to hell.
If she could collapse the whole place on top of these disgusting things, she wouldn't have to deal with them again.
But then reality struck.
She and the others were still underground.
