As Yamato woke up he felt Yuki clinging onto him as always. Though it felt different this time, which was most likely due to the lack of clothes which he normally felt between them. As he opened his eyes he looked right into hers, her face nearly touching his own. Her eyes were as blue as always, yet somehow different. Captivating, even hypnotic as she just stared at him in silence with an unreadable expression, which she seemed to have been doing for a while, which of course was shockingly normal by now. Her long hair was spread across the pillow like a fan, some hanging in front of her face which she did not bother to brush aside. Yuki was the one to break the silence.
"Good morning, Master. Are you feeling better?"
"…I'm feeling alright… What happened anyway? Before we…"
"You were poisoned!"
"Yeah… I figured that much… I found this flower… I suspected it might be poisonous since it was so colorful, but the wind made it fly in my face when I was right next to it."
"That flower was called Venoxia Toxinosa!"
"…Are you kidding me?"
"Haha, that was what I thought too! Like, the only time I'm not with you and you find the most poisonous thing ever. It freaked me out!"
"Understandable…"
"Lily read about it in the book you gave her. Didn't you read it yourself?"
"I did… I remember the entry about it, but there was no physical decription. Only the symptoms. I'm guessing she knew it from how I looked… Smart kid."
"But I saved you! I'm smart too!"
"Yeah, yeah, you're even smarter."
"That's right! Well, anyway, I then proceeded to give you my blood."
"To drink or what?"
"Nuh uh! Although that might've worked as well I dunno…"
"…"
"Well, what I actually did was injection! It was necessary so it could spread as quickly as possible!"
"Ah… So you did a blood transfusion in hopes your blood would fight the poison and leave me unharmed in the process?"
"No! I gave you the blood of an awesome hot and super talented angel which most definitely would fight of the poison while leaving you unharmed. Protecting you is in my blood!"
"Ah…"
He lifted his arm, or tried to but failed as it was claimed as pillow on the actual pillow by Yuki. So he lifed the other one to look at his veins which her blood was flowing through right now. In a weird way, that was pretty romantic. He was sure she thought of it like that at least. Connect by blood.
"And you're also immune to all poisons and curses!"
"Ah… Thank you?"
"I feel like that's a bigger deal than she makes it out to be…"
"You're welcome!"
"Why didn't you inject me your blood sooner? It feels like a thing you would push for if it has so many benefits and no risks…"
"It's not that simple! First I had to get a syringe, hand made by the way, and then I had to find out what your blood type was-"
"Which you could have just asked for…"
"That wasn't the problem in the first place! I then remembered my blood is universal anyway, but I still wanted to know your blood type cause it's a thing a wife needs to know~"
"Ah…"
"But there's more to compatibility than just the blood type. Like, usually, blood with lots of mana is dangerously to blood with little mana. Usually the high mana blood destroys all the low mana blood, resulting in the death of the injected person!"
"That sounds painful…"
"It is! I thought about using it as a torture method in case I ever needed to torture someone! But then I felt like I don't wanna share my blood or anything of me with anyone but you! I could use anyone's blood for that though… Anyway, since your blood has no mana at all, I felt like it might work! But I would never gamble with your life! So all the way back during the exam, when you were wounded after being hit by an avalanche, I took a blood sample and tested it out!"
"Ah… You planned it for that long?"
"It was a priority! And after it had no negative effect on your blood, I kept it in mind as an emergency solution in case something goes wrong in that direction, which it did!"
"But it could have behaved differently in larger quantities…"
"Which was why it was an emergency solution!"
"Well, I guess it worked out. Thank you for going through all that."
"No biggy!"
"Right…"
It sure felt like a "biggy", but it also felt like a normal Yuki thing it was fitting in a way. She moved a little closer and hugged him tightly.
"I'm so glad it worked…"
"You already said that…"
"I will say it over and over again!"
"…Do what you want, I guess."
He slightly hugged her back, though it felt more like an reaction to her hug than anything coming from him.
"So how long are we going to stay here?"
"I wanna stay in bed all day!"
"I meant at the resort… Where there any message from professors Reed about that? The exam is over, after all…"
"He said this is like an vacation and we will stay for five more days. You slept through four of them!"
"My bad, I guess…"
"I will take partial blame for not getting you to feel better sooner!"
"How mature…"
"But we will spend the rest of our time usefully!"
"You just said you want to stay in bed the entire day…"
"Changed my mind… Just five more minutes!"
Yamato sighed but let her be, which of course meant he was not allowed to move, but he decided he could live with that. He instead used the time and thought about the things Yuki had not explained yet, and filled all the logic gaps himself. After 30 minutes, Yuki decided it had been enough for now and got up from the bed. After they got dressed they went to get breakfast, which was at a large buffet in the entry hall. Yamato was first flooded with attention and congratulations to his recovery by his classmates, but with the help of Yuki it went down quickly, as he did not like the attention. However Yuki insisted she fed him since he could experience random side effects of her blood, which of course was completely made up and if there were such a possibility, she would not have let him out at all. But whatever, he thought to himself as he ate together with her and the rest of their class. Turns out each class had their own corner to themselves, which made sense since there would naturally be tension between the classes, but it also meant Andrew and Lily had to stay away, which they weren not happy about. Class 1 corner was pretty empty though, since everyone from the day before was still in the medical wing, even though they were healed three times a day. Yuki packed quite the punch! She could not care less though, and made sure Yamato spent the entire day with her.
"Let's go to the pool before anyone else gets there!"
"I don't have clothes to go swimming."
"That's alright! I have prepared some for the both of us!"
"In that case…"
"Let's go!"
When they finished changing, Yuki presented herself to him in a white bikini where the top is a halter-style triangle bikini with small ruffle detailing along the edges and a central ring connector between the cups, giving it a decorative and slightly elevated look. The bikini bottoms were tied at the sides with matching strings and were partially covered by a sheer, asymmetrical wrap skirt made of lace or mesh, adding a fashionable and feminine layer. She posed in a way that would bring attention to her curves which she was very proud of. She clearly expected praise to her outfit and beauty in general, which Yamato was already used to give her anyway.
"How do I look, Master~? Are you feeling seduced yet?"
"It looks great on you and compliments your features and assets."
"I know~ You look good too! I have amazing taste, after all. I should pick out all your clothes!"
"I'm going to wear my school uniform most of the time anyway…"
"Argh, damn school dress codes!"
When they went to the pool, they found it contaminated by the hive mind people already. Class 3 seemed to have been faster once again, infuriating to Yuki, no doubt.
"Hello, friends! You can join us, there is enough space for everyone!"
"Aha, no thank you… We don't wanna make it too crowded, have a nice day!"
"Fuck you all, fucking weirdos…"
Yuki pulled Yamato out of that room and the thought of killing them passed her mind more then once by now. But then the pool would be full of blood and they could not use it either way, so they had to find another alternative. Although she already achieved her main goal of having him see her in a bikini, which was really all this was about. But she promised him they would go swimming so there was no backing out now! They instead got to the beach, where there were only class 2 students, which was at least not as bad as class 3, she thought. They spent the entire day building sand castles, swimming and goofing around, though she made sure to always be with Yamato in the group activities. It was actually really fun and relaxing for everyone. So much so that losing the exam did not bother anyone, even though it meant they would never learn about the surprise professor Reed had for the winner. At the evening, they all ate together at the terrace. Feeling like he owed her that, Yamato was this time feeding Yuki, without her forcing him to, which made her incredibly happy. Yuki and Yamato returned to their room, and the day ended like it did yesterday, with Yuki behaving just like yesterday as well, which Yamato assumed would not change soon if at all, but he did not mind her… Passion.
