Do Hee's POV.
Oh I woke up and I could see blurred images, two people were sitting right in front of me and touching my chest to know if I was alright, though minutes later I could see clearly and it was Ga Eul and Na Na.
"Are you okay? "they asked in unison, I had no strength to talk so I nodded, they asked me if I was hungry but I disagreed to that because I was not feeling famished and I ate snacks before that jerk poured water on me, the scene when he poured water on me kept flashing back to my memory and I feel like strangling him to death, "Anyways, those slaps are enough" I said in my mind.
Lee Joo Hyuk's POV.
I can't get my mind off those wrenching and stinging slaps, and I vowed not to overlook her, my name is "Lee Joo Hyuk" and I must avenge, she will be the one crawling on my feet and begging with tears to forgive her because I must commence torturing her so she can get out of here. "Ouch" I let out when I touched my cheeks, "I must go to the spa after school to get my skin properly treated, who knows if bacteria has been infected on my face with those filthy and poor hands of hers" I kept pondering in my mind. However, I do not know why I despise her so much unlike others, I do not have this much hatred for others so why her? I asked myself that question, or is it because she challenges me? I said out before my friend Gu Won came to the school poolside where I was standing.
"Hey man, you have to calm down" he tried to chill me out not knowing I was not ready at all to calm down.
"You are my best friend dude and you know I will not easily let it slide till she apologizes and crawls on my feet" he replied.
"I understand and I am aware of your temper but she is a new girl and you promised me you will draft out a new school year resolution for yourself and will keep to that, number one on the list is staying away from torturing and humiliating innocent scholarship students, secondly, overlooking incidents no matter the temper" Gu won analyzed down for him.
"I know I did bro, but you see this particular girl? Never will I let whatever she does slide, Come on, why do they keep applying for scholarships in our school? You know what that means right? Free education and luxury to enjoy and that is what the peasants will always wish for, they just like leeching off rich kids like our families and us but trust me I will make their lives a living hell because they do not deserve to be here, her included" he stated.
Gu-won sighed and held his shoulder, " Take a chill pill bro, this is not the best way to solve it, rather you sit with your dad and discuss that with him, do not put laws in your hands" he said.
Joo Hyuk smirked and gently took his hands off his shoulder and looked at him, "I will never discuss any fucking thing with my father, I would rather let the law in my hands and correct everything myself" He said.
"Why? You know bro, I still don't understand why you hate your father this much, you do not like seeing him, you do not like discussing with him, you skip his calls and golf invitations, bro, that is what every guy out there want for themselves, they wanna be close to their dads but no you are the opposite" Gu won lectured.
"I am a pace setter Gu won and you know that, I have always been different among my peers and will continue to be, as I said, I won't discuss anything with my father, let's head to class" he said and turned to leave, Gu won followed him too.
While they were walking, he mistakenly bumped into someone and she was about to fall but he held her waist and brought her up and erect. "Min Jae" he called out
She adjusted her skirt "Thanks for pulling me up" She said.
"You are welcome, what are you doing here? He asked.
"I came to see you, I asked Gu Won if he saw you and he told me you are here, I'm so sorry for the slap, that girl has some nerves, and trust me I will deal with her myself" She said.
"No you don't have to, it is my battle and I will teach her a lesson" Said Joo Hyuk.
"We are close friends and your battle is my battle just like my battle has been yours too, chill, I will handle her, she is new let's see this as grace for her" She let out.
"You think so? he asked, "Don't you trust me anymore? She replied smiling, they smirked and left along with Gu Won.
Na Na was coming back from one of the school clinics and met Jae mi at the class corridors when they were walking to their class, Do Hee was with her too and her shirt had dried up.
"Who do we have here, the stinking, poor, dumb, and irritating ugly face Kim Do Hee" Jae mi insulted her. They ignored her and kept walking
"You are just a weakling proving to be strong and different from your Impoverished colleagues of yours in this great and prestigious Academy, but bet me that you will be kicked out of here soon, get ready" Jae mi blabbed again. Kim Do Hee chuckled which got jae mi feeling like a fool, after chuckling she looked back at Jae mi and spoke up "I do not have words for you dear because I don't need anymore troubles today, but I will drop a statement for you and that is, let's see how you and your team wins in throwing me out of this school" Do Hee uttered.
"Well then, you will testify very soon" Jae Mi replied and left, while Do Hee and Na Na kept walking.
Everyone can be seen sitting on their seats in Science Class a teacher was in class teaching and they were taking notes on what was showing on the projector. One hour later, their male teacher left the class, the projector was turned off and everyone started discussing in pairs based on their friendships and choice. Lee Joo Hyuk surprisingly stood up from his chair and went to DO Hee's seat then dragged her out of the class, the whole class started murmuring and making noise.
"Where could he be taking her to? Jae Mi asked Min Jae and Min Jae shrugged her shoulders signifying that she didn't know and had no idea where he was dragging her to, Joo Hyuk kept dragging her and she kept shouting he should let go off her but he did not until they got to one of the school seniors' libraries then he let go off her.
"Have you lost it? How dare you drag me that way! She shouted.
"Listen carefully to me" He said.
"The last thing I will do on earth is to listen to a jerk and abnormal human being like you" She said.
" Let's make a deal, that was why I dragged you out"
"What nonsense deal?"
" Tell me what you want so you can get out of my school, mention it, is it money? a house for you and your family, or rather houses? What exactly do you need? Mention it and it will be all yours but only if you leave here" He said.
"You must be out of your senses Joo Hyuk, do you think you can bribe me off my educational rights? You must be dreaming" She uttered back.
"Do not prove to be stubborn because I know you need the money, don't form a Saint but you are dying slowly, I am just here to help your life so do not miss a huge opportunity like this one, an opportunity to get rich" he retorted.
Do Hee folded her arms and looked at him more intensely, "Okay, okay, what makes you think I will accept your offer? She asked.
"That is because you need the money, come on, you are poor and from a low class family, your father's salary alone is the amount for my hair-cut and let's say your mother's salary is lower than what we pay our workers at home, you need the money stupid, so accept my offer and get your ass out of here, seeing you in school and in class aches me" he said.
She smirked and giggled, "What's funny? He asked.
"You sound like a comedian, but you know what? Fine, I will accept your offer and get my ass out of here but only on one condition" She said.
"Which is? he replied.
"It is not money but something easier and simpler" she said.
"Can you just talk and stop wasting my time" he said.
"Cool... she sighed before she started speaking "You have to accept and work on that assignment with me as my partner, after that I will terminate my scholarship and leave" Do Hee spoke.
"Just that? he asked.
"I do not fail my words, I promise I will leave this school, it is becoming unbearable for me too" She said and Joo Hyuk beamed
"Good girl, now you made a good decision but hold on….do not think I am a fool, you can always go against your promise so you will have to sign a contract, not written but orally" he spoke.
"What do you mean? She replied.
He gently walked closer to her while she was trembling on why he was coming close, "Why the hell is he coming close to me, God please give me the ability to resist his handsome face and hot body physique" She said in her mind until he got to her face and bent low to her face then stared at her eyes angrily and in rage.
"I will video you and you say out everything you said right now, I will keep it in my phone and if you don't keep to the end of your bargain, I will post it on all media and school platforms" he said.
"What!!! Do Hee shouted in shock.
"You heard me right, are you in or not? he asked
"Well...I….I…. fine fine I am in" She said.
"Good" he replied.
He brought out his phone from his pocket and took a video of her when she said out her deal with him, Unknown to both of them, Park Min Jae followed them from class and was eavesdropping on all their conversations.
