"Once the Sea Clan decides to use the most violent means to solve the issues between the Human race and the Sea Clan, this war is bound to be prolonged and result in countless casualties. Humans are fragile against the Sea Clan, yet the Sea Clan might not withstand human artillery. In the end, both sides will suffer. Your father and his friends may get hurt in this war. Even if it's for them, you must shoulder this responsibility, or you'll regret it."
Arthur took a deep breath, and the image of a man missing half of his body flashed in his mind. Fishermen's lives were already challenging as they had to fight against weather, battle the sea, risk their lives, and might end up with nothing. If the Sea Clan invaded, they simply couldn't survive.
Growing up in Human Society, he was attached to the Port of Mercy that raised him. Even for those neighbors who once helped him and his father, he felt compelled to step forward.
Suddenly, he felt One Hand on his shoulder. Mera said, "You're not alone, Arthur. I will stand with you."
The moment Arthur grasped the golden trident, the entire Earth's oceans trembled. Within the waters of the seven seas came the same signal, a powerful force akin to Atlantis's peak glory, announcing the arrival of Aquaman.
Orm also felt this power. He changed from initial gloominess to a hint of panic. Then, he brandished the weapon in his hand and roared, "Attack!! Attack!!!"
However, accompanied by a golden light bolt like Thunder striking into the sea, strong Arthur appeared behind him, punched him flying away, and then retrieved the thrown trident, floating above Orm, saying, "You are unfit to be Atlantis's king."
Orm immediately got up. He shouted at Arthur, "You bastard, damn illegitimate child!!!"
"I'm not here to discuss this with you," Arthur said, "Do you realize your offense on the Mainland could destroy both Humans and the Sea Clan?"
"We were never able to coexist!" Orm said stubbornly, "These humans recklessly dump garbage into the ocean. Fish die, coral die, even the sea monster is poisoned by them. If we don't eradicate them, how will we survive?!"
"Then I ask you: What are the main types of waste humans dump into the sea? From which countries' companies do they originate? How have the discharge numbers changed over the years? Which organization in Human Society is responsible for monitoring and improving ocean waste discharge?"
Orm opened his mouth, then said somewhat embarrassingly, "You shouldn't ask me this, you should ask humans!"
"If asking them worked, they wouldn't be dumping!"
Orm was somewhat confused. He didn't know if Arthur supported his words or was admonishing him, so he could only say, "Why should I care, they are all humans!"
"So that's how it is. We're invading Amazon today with only these Sea Clan. Where's the rest? Why don't you bring them all?"
"Those ignorant fools simply don't understand! They simply can't recognize how dire the situation is now!"
"Do you expect every human to be aware?" Arthur swam to face Orm and said, "You can't be so foolish as to think humans, unlike Atlantis, are united like a solid mass uniformly dumping garbage into the sea, right?"
"How many people are in Atlantis? On Earth, there are six billion humans. Each country, each race, each region's differences might be greater than the differences between humans and Atlanteans. You want to use the simplest violent means to solve problems without even understanding the basics of Human Society. Is your small brain connected to your rectum?"
"How could I not understand!" Orm shouted again, "America is the most powerful country. I only need to defeat America, and they won't dare fight me!"
Arthur sneered again and said, "I can clearly tell you, if you don't attack America, America's two parties might completely split in the next month, even erupt into a hot war. And if you attack now, all Americans will unite at light speed, becoming a stronger country than you imagined, and kicking you back into the sea."
Orm was confused again. He felt Arthur was talking nonsense. He felt he couldn't argue with Arthur, so he simply chose not to communicate and raised his weapon to charge directly.
Arthur was not afraid at all, swung the trident, and fought with him. The golden trident's formidable strength allowed him to stir up the most terrifying ocean currents and storms. Countless bubbles surrounded Orm, and he felt the entire ocean was against him.
"Impossible, impossible!!!!" Orm roared unwillingly, "How can you possibly defeat me!!!"
Arthur charged again, brandishing the trident to stab down at him. Orm wanted to run, but the water held his feet. In despair, he closed his eyes. But the next second, the trident stabbed into the sea sand, brushing past his ear.
Orm shuddered in fright. Half-kneeling, Arthur pressed down on him and coldly stared at him, saying, "Tell me why you suddenly attacked Amazon. Otherwise, next time this thing will stab into your head."
Orm swallowed, still wanting to act tough. But seeing Arthur's cold gaze, he could only say, "I went to the sea turtle elder, he told me the raw materials for the golden trident are in Amazon. I figured I wouldn't find it, so I might as well forge another one myself."
"Why did you want to take the trident?"
"Because you were going to take it! If I don't take it, I can't beat you!"
"But how do you know I was going to take it?" Arthur asked him, this was what puzzled him the most. He had never seen him, Mera could not possibly betray him. So how did Orm know his actions?
"I, I have my channels..." The nearby trident moved slightly, and Orm closed his eyes tightly, saying, "...The American coast Guard! I have bribed people inside. They heard your phone call with that A.R.G.U.S."
Arthur took a deep breath. He punched Orm hard in the chest, saying, "How the hell can you be so stupid!"
Orm was puzzled again. Listening in on his conversation, shouldn't this be clever?
"They deliberately let you hear!" Arthur said wearily, closing his eyes, "This is the National Security Agency's usual trick, causing so-called information leak cases, actually using real and fake intelligence to provoke war! You damned fool!"
Though he said this, he still stood up, his expression cold as he said to Mera beside him, "Though he's a bit stupid, the person responsible for this war is someone else. Take him away and lock him up first, then find the real culprit to settle accounts!"
