The next morning, Umi arrived at the address Jun Ming's assistant had sent her.
She had been picked up by a company car along with the few bags she had packed for her stay. At first, she had been happily checking her phone, still unable to believe how lucky she had gotten with this strange job.
The pay was ridiculously good for simply taking care of a piglet, and she had already read through the contract twice last night just to make sure there wasn't some hidden condition she had missed.
But when the car slowed down in front of a huge mansion, her attention immediately moved away from her phone.
Umi leaned toward the window.
"Wait… here?"
The driver nodded as if there was nothing unusual about it.
She looked outside again.
The mansion was huge, surrounded by a neatly maintained garden and a private driveway that had already taken them quite a while to drive through. Even from outside, everything about the place screamed money.
Umi slowly put her phone away.
