Chapter 107 - absolutely fair

Weng Ling saw that Ao Yuan was preparing a large-scale ultimate move, her face brightened. She reached out, wiped some blood from her shoulder wound, and pressed it onto the palm.

"Radiant Shield of Return!"

With a hum, a shield, fifty meters in length, width, and height, soared abruptly. It nearly cut Ao Yuan, who was channeling a spell in place, into two halves.

"Tsk tsk, do you think I don't know about this move? Unfortunately, a flying wind elementalist can cast spells while moving!" Ao Yuan sneered disdainfully.

He had long known about Weng Ling's trump card, and in a prepared situation, hitting him with this move was nearly impossible. The most challenging phase of constructing his spell had already been completed, and now he only needed to finish the casting. Weng Ling's demise was imminent.

However, Weng Ling ignored everything, wiped her hands again, and chanted, "Radiant Shield of Return! Radiant Shield of Return! Radiant Shield of Return!"

Weng Ling pressed the skill three times. With three humming sounds, the three Radiant Shields of Return, along with the previous one, formed an uncovered cage, slowly squeezing towards the center.

Weng Ling swayed as she stood up, pale but confidently gazing at Ao Yuan in the air.

"Got you!"

"Hmph!"

Ao Yuan sneered at the approaching shield cage. "You exhausted your holy power to summon these four sluggish things. What's the use? My Gale Blades would have torn you into pieces long before!"

Weng Ling clenched the black hammer in her hands, revealing a toothy grin.

"My holy power is depleted, but my physical strength isn't..."

"Take this hammer!"

Weng Ling shouted, grabbing the hammer's handle, spinning around faster and faster. Finally, she let go of the handle, and the large black hammer turned into a massive black meteor, hurtling towards Ao Yuan.

Ao Yuan's expression tightened. With no space left around him, and at the limit height of Wind Soaring Art, the only way to avoid this attack was to plummet immediately. This meant using the Gale Force Traction to counteract it, disrupting the already formed Gale Blades.

Did Weng Ling plan this moment?

"Come on, let's see who's more fortunate!"

Forced to interrupt the Gale Blades, Ao Yuan couldn't endure the consequences. It was a showdown of who would survive!

Ao Yuan roared, and with a swift movement of his hands, a large tornado suddenly formed in front of him. Even more terrifying was that within the tornado, various-sized Wind Blades swirled!

If caught in it, not a trace of flesh would remain in less than half a minute!

The roaring tornado, twisting its waist, headed towards Weng Ling on the ground. In its path, the incoming black hammer collided.

A series of clanging sounds, accompanied by deafening wind blade collisions, echoed from the Gale Blades. Occasionally, wind blades were knocked out of the tornado, spinning into a gentle breeze.

"Passed through!" Bede exclaimed in surprise.

The large black hammer had actually broken through the fearsome tornado, continuing towards Ao Yuan. However, it seemed to have consumed too much force; the handle was already swaying.

"Darn it!"

Ao Yuan's face turned ugly. Even so, he dared not confront the massive black hammer with his body. After cursing, he fiercely knocked his purple staff against his chest. A purple crystalline barrier suddenly unfolded before him.

However, with a resounding thud, the crystalline barrier only lasted less than half a second before shattering into crystalline shards. Ao Yuan, sprayed with blood, was hit in the chest by the black hammer and fell from the air.

"Get out of the way!"

However, the attention of Night Third and the others was entirely focused on Weng Ling. It seemed that, after delivering the hammer, she had fallen to the ground. The tornado, along with the Wind Blades, was already rushing towards her!

"Get out of the way!"

Perhaps hearing Night Third and the others' call, Weng Ling struggled to prop herself up, then raised her fists and smashed them into the ground.

Unfortunately, by then, the tornado had arrived. In an instant, she was engulfed, and the Wind Blades inside shredded everything.

Crack, crack...

The four Radiant Shields gradually disappeared, while the tornado, after raging for a minute, finally dissipated. In its place, a three-meter-wide, one-meter-deep crater was plowed.

Night Third lifted his toe, seeing a blood-stained arm drooping on the edge of the pit.

"Weng Ling..."

"She's still alive!"

Bed sighed in relief.

Only the fingers of the bloodstained arm moved slightly, and then, with a stretch and support, Weng Ling's head, covered in blood, emerged from the pit. However, she seemed heavily injured, laying back beside the muddy pit, continuously gasping for breath.

"Not good, that old guy is still alive!" Shawen Cheng pointed to the opposite side, his face serious.

Falling from a height of more than thirty meters, it was unknown how Ao Yuan managed not to die. Moreover, judging by his injuries, he was clearly in better shape than Weng Ling, limping toward her.

"Hoo... Hoo... I actually forced this old man to this extent. But, unfortunately, I still won in the end!"

Ao Yuan smirked, taking slow steps towards Weng Ling. His purple staff was shattered, but two large Wind Blades were gathering in his hands.

Looking towards the judging seat, he found two stern gazes warning him. Ao Yuan frowned but eventually gritted his teeth and asked, "Do you surrender?!"

Slap!

Weng Ling responded by throwing a soft lump of mud at him.

"Seeking death!"

Ao Yuan wiped the mud off his face, showing no mercy. Both hands extended, and the Wind Blades he had formed were thrown towards Weng Ling.

Suddenly, clink clink, a golden transparent shield appeared over Weng Ling. When the wind blades struck, they dissipated in the air.

"The opponent is unconscious. Ao Yuan of the Tian Stone Territory wins!" Xu Muzhi suddenly stood up, calmly announcing.

As it turned out, the golden protective shield was cast by him!

"This..."

Ao Yuan glared at Weng Ling, full of resentment, giving her a disdainful look before turning around and walking towards his teammates.

"Old Xu, why did you suddenly take action? Aren't you afraid of being accused of bias?" Lei Daren asked with interest, his hands crossed.

One side was killed, and the other side was saved from the brink of death. This could easily lead to accusations of the public notarization officer's partiality.

"What am I afraid of?" Xu Muzhi smiled and shook his head.

"The situations are different, and besides, do they dare to accuse me?"

Accusing a bishop of the Saint Silver Church, with their almost depleted small territory, would not be easy. Moreover, he had legitimate reasons for his actions, fully within the framework of legality and fairness.

Don't agree?

Remember, there's no absolute fairness in the Holy Stone Continent. The Tian Wei Empire and their Saint Silver Church were not built on words alone!
