"It's been a while since I last saw you two. How are you doing?"
Albeit confused, Evelyn and Kiera both entered the carriage. Because Aoife had messaged Kiera in advance, she wasn't that surprised, as opposed to Evelyn, who looked at Aoife in shock.
"What are you standing there like that? Come in."
Evelyn only snapped out of it when she heard Keira's words. Lifting her head and looking at the two, she bit her lower lip before entering the carriage.
Making herself comfortable, the carriage began to move.
"Are we going somewhere?"
Evelyn looked around in confusion.
She still had to meet with her father, and—
"Don't worry. I'll bring you back here. I just have a few things that I want to talk to the two of you about."
The smile on Aoife's face gradually faded as she looked at the two of them. Seeing her like this, Kiera and Evelyn calmed down.
