"We are honoured by the offer you extend us your majesty. However we will not be able to accept as we have our family's in the Green Town of the Phoenix kingdom who will be waiting for our arrival in a couple of years." Alan Politely rejected the offer from the King with a sincere bow followed by Ben.
"For us, our family is the priority. More than our own happiness or even our lives." Ben said with a fond smile and a distant gaze.
Although the King who had already anticipated this answer, he sighed dejectedly. However, the bond between these 2 men and their family made him feel happy.
"Alright, I will not persuade you both anymore to stay her. However, if we can get through the upcoming situation without major casualty can I ask you for a favour?" The king asked hesitantly...
"If we can be of any help, then we definitely will do it." Ben said smiling with a slight bow of his head.
A loud and sharp horn sounded followed by ringing of gounge bell.
Everyone there fell slient. Then, the King said, " The mountain Trolls are approaching. It will be near the city wall within a couple of hours. We miscalculated their arrival."
The King looked solemn and then took a deep breath and stood ram rod straight exuding a confident aura.
He then looked at the two young men and before he even opened his mouth, both of them bowed their head saying, " Your majesty, we will be waiting for you at the outer wall. And rest assured, we will take care of the Trolls." And after saying that, they turned on their heals and walked out of the arena.
Their words, the way they bow and the way they turned and started to walk was so much in since that the king thought of mirror image for a second. He then shook his head coming back to the reality.
He then started to pass orders to his Generals and the three Prince's. They all of them disbursed in a different firection.
Then he turned towards the Queen and his daughter. " I know both of you would like to be at the outer wall. But, this time it will be extremely dangerous. I would be at ease if both of you would stay near the inner wall."
However both the queen and Sharon were dead set on accompanying the King.
When Alan and Ben walked out of the Palace, they saw that the inner area was buzzing with activity. Panicked expression could be seen on everyone's face. Women's and children were getting back to their houses in a hurry. Young and abled men were moving towards the city gate with purpose and determination. Weapons in their hands and on their backs.
Alan put his hand on Ben's shoulder and they vanished into thin air. Appearing just at the edge of the forest.
Alan whistled 3 times and within a few seconds Blacky appeared. Happily bounding towards the two brothers and started to lick one after another.
" Easy there girl, I missed you too." Alan scratched the chin of the black panther with a wide smile.
"Come with us. The mountain Trolls are almost here. Lets hope this will not turn into an unnecessary blood bath." Alan and Ben started to walk towards the city wall.
