#57th minute…
Chelsea surged forward on the attack once again and a long pass was sent behind into the path of Havertz.
Receiving the ball, the man quickly tried to cover as much ground as he could before the Tottenham defenders blocked the path, but he wasn't quick enough and the Tottenham defense line swiftly restructured in front of the goal.
Forced to slow down to look for other options, he gave up on sending the ball into the penalty box and sent the ball back to Kovacic behind him to avoid losing the ball.
Kovacic in turn sent the ball infield towards Kante who on receiving it saw that there were only a few defenders between him and goal.
Deciding to take a chance, he hit the ball hard, trying to send it to the left, but it was vastly underhit and the ball barely left the ground.
It was a ball that would easily be gathered by Lloris but on it's way to the goal, it slammed against Eric Dier's leg and flew the other way.
