The season was over for most football teams in the world, except for the leagues with a different calendar, however, for Uventus and Bayern Munich, the season was not yet over.
Uventus had won every title available to them so far this year while Bayern, coming off a sextuple in the previous calendar year, had won all but two trophies so far this year.
At the Uventus training ground, the players were already hard at training. The day doubled as a recovery day for the players who had played in the last game, as well as an intensive training day for the more energized players.
The manager had set up the previous day's lineup with this in mind, keeping in mind that his players had to keep training intensively for the upcoming Champions League finals.
