[0:00]
Black screen.
A low mechanical hum begins.
Then a voice speaks over the darkness.
"You're going to need the finest heroes in the world to win this."
A beat.
"And maybe a few villains too."
[0:04]
The screen explodes into color.
A massive battle arena fills the frame, with Metropolis and its glowing skyscrapers in the distance.
Quick cuts follow.
Gotham rooftops under heavy rain.
Themyscira beneath a red sunset.
Apokolips, with fire pits blazing across the horizon.
A frozen Fortress of Solitude map.
A ruined Watchtower drifting above Earth.
Each location flashes by in less than a second.
[0:10]
Five characters appear on one side of the screen.
SUPERMAN
BATMAN
WONDER WOMAN
THE FLASH
GREEN LANTERN
They stand together as the camera circles them.
Then the other side lights up.
HARLEY QUINN
JOKER
BLACK ADAM
DEATHSTROKE
LEX LUTHOR
The ten characters charge.
[0:14]
Gameplay.
A third-person camera follows behind Superman as he launches into the air.
He accelerates across Metropolis and crashes directly through a building wall, sending an enemy Deathstroke flying out the other side.
Superman lands.
"Stay down."
Deathstroke gets back up.
"Not really my thing."
[0:18]
Batman grapples between Gotham rooftops.
The camera follows closely behind him as he drops into a group fight, throws three Batarangs, uses his cape to stun Harley, then fires his grapple gun at Joker and violently pulls him off a ledge.
Joker laughs as he flies through the air.
"Oh, I missed this!"
Batman catches him with a punch before he lands.
"I didn't."
[0:23]
Wonder Woman charges through gunfire with her bracelets raised.
She throws the Lasso of Truth around Lex Luthor and swings him directly into Black Adam.
"Yield!"
Black Adam rises from the crater.
"Never."
[0:27]
The Flash tears across the battlefield, becoming a red streak that circles the entire enemy team before striking each of them almost simultaneously.
A meter fills.
SPEED FORCE OVERDRIVE
Flash vanishes.
For half a second, everything freezes.
Then every opponent is hit at once.
"Too slow!"
[0:32]
Green Lantern flies over Apokolips while firing emerald energy from his ring.
He forms a giant construct fist that slams Lex into the ground, then immediately transforms it into a cannon and fires at him.
"Let's see you calculate this."
[0:37]
Rapid montage.
Aquaman bursts from beneath the water and drives his trident into the ground, summoning a massive tidal wave.
Cyborg transforms his arm into a sonic cannon.
Supergirl punches Black Adam through a stone pillar.
Nightwing flips over Harley and strikes her with both escrima sticks.
Shazam calls down lightning.
"SHAZAM!"
The bolt strikes him and explodes outward.
Harley vaults over Batman, fires both pistols while upside down, lands, then swings her oversized mallet into him.
"Hiya, Bats!"
Joker throws a gas grenade into the middle of a team fight.
Purple smoke erupts everywhere.
He steps through it with a pistol and a grin.
"Everybody smile."
Black Adam lifts Superman by the throat and slams him through the floor.
"I kneel to no one."
[0:50]
The music reaches its peak.
Ten players converge at the center of a ruined Metropolis map.
Superman flies forward.
Black Adam meets him.
Wonder Woman charges Deathstroke.
Batman and Joker collide.
Flash runs directly at Harley.
Green Lantern raises a massive emerald construct as Lex charges his armor.
Everything crashes together.
White flash.
[0:56]
The logo appears.

Character-selection screen.
The cursor highlights Batman.
Harley appears beside him.
"Pick me."
The cursor moves to Superman.
Harley stares.
"Rude."
The cursor moves to Wonder Woman.
"Extremely rude."
The cursor moves again.
Joker.
Harley pauses.
Her expression changes.
"Okay, now I'm offended."
Cut to black.

Scarlett arrived at Daniel and Margot's house expecting one of them to let her in.
She had called ahead. Twice.
Nobody answered the door.
Scarlett waited another minute, rang the bell again, then sighed and walked around toward the side entrance. Daniel had given her the code months ago, mostly because she was over often enough.
She entered it, opened the door, and stepped inside.
"Danny?"
Nothing.
"Margot?"
"heellllooooo"
Still nothing.
Scarlett closed the door behind her and walked farther into the house. She checked the kitchen first, then the living room, finding both empty. For a moment, she wondered if they had gone out and simply forgotten she was coming.
Then she heard Margot laughing upstairs.
Not ordinary laughter either.
There was a squeal, followed by another burst of laughter.
"Stop it!"
Scarlett stopped near the bottom of the stairs.
"Ahhhhh."
That explained why nobody had answered.
She started upstairs anyway.
It was not as though she had never walked in on either of them before.
As she approached their bedroom, she heard Margot laughing again, followed by Daniel saying something she could not quite make out. Scarlett reached the open doorway expecting to see something resembling what she had imagined from the sounds coming from inside.
Instead, she found Daniel standing near the bed holding a camera.
Margot was stretched across the sheets wearing a bathrobe, laughing into the lens while repeatedly blowing kisses at him.
Scarlett leaned against the doorway.
"Are you guys making a sex tape? Because this could be the most boring way to do it."
Both of them turned.
Daniel lowered the camera.
"What? No."
Margot started laughing again.
"It's not a sex tape."
"Sureeee."
"It's missing-lover footage," Margot explained.
Scarlett stared at her.
"Missing-lover footage?"
Daniel nodded as though this were an entirely normal phrase.
"You know those movies where the hero's wife or girlfriend is dead or missing?"
Scarlett's expression did not change.
"And?"
"He ends up sitting alone in some dark room watching old footage of her. Usually the same video over and over."
Margot sat up.
"She's always laughing in slow motion."
"Exactly," Daniel said. "Beautiful lighting, smiling directly into the camera, blowing kisses, talking about how much she loves him."
Scarlett listened with her mouth slightly open, once again confronting the strange machinery that apparently operated inside the minds of her friends and occasional lovers.
Daniel gestured toward Margot with the camera.
"So we're making some now."
Scarlett blinked.
"Why?"
"In case she ever gets kidnapped or murdered."
Margot nodded seriously.
There was a long silence.
Scarlett finally shook her head.
"You know, saying you were making a sex tape would have been enough."
Margot burst out laughing and climbed off the bed.
A few minutes later, Scarlett followed her downstairs while Daniel remained behind to put the camera away.
Margot had actually asked Scarlett to come over because of the wedding.
Or, more specifically, the seating arrangements, which had been agreed upon months ago. Unfortunately, a crisis had now appeared.
"I genuinely hate this," Margot said as they entered the kitchen. "I thought choosing the dress was going to be the difficult part. Apparently the difficult part is figuring out which relatives can survive sitting within ten feet of each other for four hours."
Scarlett laughed.
As they discussed the crisis, they were interrupted by Daniel returning downstairs. He appeared with his phone in one hand.
"Mags."
Margot looked up.
"You know the actress playing Charity in Ready or Not?"
"Melody?"
"Yeah."
Margot smiled immediately.
"Oh, she's great. Scar, I genuinely think we found someone special with her. She was apparently considering quitting acting before she got this."
Daniel grimaced.
"Well, Mags, here's the thing."
Margot's smile disappeared.
"What?"
"She broke her legs."
Margot stared at him.
"Both of them?"
"Nooooo."
Scarlett winced.
Daniel nodded.
"Accident earlier today. She's going to be fine, but obviously she won't be shooting a movie next week."
Margot looked genuinely devastated.
"Oh, that's awful. She was so excited about this."
"I know. I'm going to call her agent and make it clear that once she's recovered, we'll find another production for her."
Margot shook her head.
"I can call her. She's become my protégé."
"Probably better coming from you anyway."
Daniel looked down at his phone.
"The immediate problem is that we need a new Charity."
Scarlett, who had been quietly listening, raised a hand.
"I can do it."
Both of them turned toward her.
Daniel frowned.
"You?"
"Yes, me."
"You were already offered the role, and you turned it down because you were busy."
Scarlett rolled her eyes.
"As I was about to explain, I'm not busy anymore. The reshoots I was keeping time open for aren't happening, so my schedule just cleared."
Daniel stared at her for a moment, clearly rearranging something in his head.
He began pacing slowly.
"You'd already know most of the production, you and Margot obviously work well together, we wouldn't need weeks of negotiations, and wardrobe could probably adapt everything quickly enough."
Scarlett grinned.
"So?"
Daniel looked toward Margot.
Margot shrugged.
"I'd love it."
He looked back at Scarlett.
"Okay. Okay, this might actually work."
Scarlett smiled wider.
"This is going to be fun."

Daniel Adler's Ready or Not Adds Scarlett Johansson After Actress Suffers Injury
Daniel Adler's next directorial project, Ready or Not, has added Scarlett Johansson to its cast following an unfortunate accident involving actress Melody Reigns, who had originally been set to appear in the film.
The upcoming horror-thriller is written and directed by Adler and stars his fiancée, Margot Robbie, in the lead role. Production is expected to begin shortly, with the film currently scheduled for release next year.
Johansson will replace Reigns in a supporting role after Reigns suffered serious injuries in an accident that left both of her legs broken. Reigns is expected to recover, but the injuries make it impossible for her to participate in filming under the current schedule.
Ready or Not follows a young bride whose wedding night takes a violent turn after she joins her new husband's wealthy and deeply eccentric family. The film is expected to blend horror, dark comedy, and thriller elements, with Robbie playing the bride at the center of the story.
Adler reportedly wrote the screenplay himself and will also direct the project.
The casting reunites Johansson with Adler following their previous work together on The Usual Suspects.

@MelodyReigns
I'm not going to lie, when the accident happened, it completely broke my heart. Ready or Not was the biggest opportunity I had ever earned, and for a few days I genuinely thought I had lost everything I had worked toward.Mr. Adler called me personally and promised that, when I recover, there will be another role waiting for me in a future Midas production. He also sent money to help cover my medical expenses and recovery. Obviously, I wish I could still be part of the film, but right now I'm focusing on getting healthy again. Thank you to everyone who has sent messages. It genuinely means a lot.

@Cima3
Recover well, Melody. There will be plenty more offers after this.
@MvNeiwily
Wishing you a quick recovery. Breaking both legs sounds absolutely horrible.
@Arrtghve
Good guy Adler.
@Filn1fbht5
Daniel could have just replaced her and moved on. Instead, he helped with the medical bills AND promised her another role when she recovers. Respect.
@Eidaatcher
People can say whatever they want about Adler, but everything you hear from people who actually work with him makes him sound like one of the best people in Hollywood to have in your corner.
@Ertestinema
Best filmmaker in Hollywood and apparently one of the better people in it too.
@Herdlywout8
This is obviously PR. I'm sure Adler wanted Johansson in the movie anyway, and now everyone gets to pretend he's some saint.

Truker91:
Adler probably broke her legs himself so he could get his side chick into the movie.Poor Margot.
Fideedebel:
This guy is genuinely a monster. Every week since joining this server, I learn something worse about him.
Ldleosed:
Exactly.
Connect the dots.
Xorrsofhr2:
You people do realize she literally thanked him for paying some of her medical expenses, right?
Fideedebel:
That's how he controls people.
Xorrsofhr2:
By paying their medical bills?
Fideedebel:
YES.
Xorrsofhr2:
Right.
Crutheker1:
Scarlett suddenly becoming available at exactly the right time is suspicious too.
Truker91:
And don't even get me started on Margot.
Nobody can convince me she's actually happy with all this.
Iothaatch:
By the way, what happened to the subreddit? Why did everyone move here?
VoidWalker:
It wasn't safe anymore.
Here we can actually expose him properly without everything getting reported or buried.
Iothaatch:
Makes sense.
Gianeis23:
Uh.
Guys.
VoidWalker:
What?
Gianeis23:
Doesn't Adler own Discord?
VoidWalker:
What?
Gianeis23:
Yeah.
You seriously didn't know?
Fideedebel:
Wait, WHAT?
Ldleosed:
No, he fucking doesn't.

Pretty sure he bought it like a year or two ago.

World's Finest Teaser: Suicide Squad Screening Leak!!!!!
The YouTube video began with someone hurriedly raising a phone inside a packed theater.
The image was tilted slightly to one side, with the bottom corner of the cinema screen blocked by somebody's head.
A few audience members immediately started shouting.
[0:00]
Black screen.
Heavy breathing.
Metal scraped slowly across stone.
Somewhere far away, an enormous crowd roared.
The theater around the person filming grew quieter.
[0:03]
A black-gloved hand dragged across a bloodstained arena floor.
The audience reacted immediately.
Several people started cheering.
Batman slowly pushed himself onto one knee. His armor was badly damaged, with pieces missing from the shoulder and chest. Blood ran beneath the edge of his cowl.
Superman's voice came from somewhere beside him.
"Bruce."
[0:08]
Batman looked up.
Cut to Superman several feet away.
His suit was torn almost completely from his upper body, leaving him shirtless and covered in cuts and bruises.
The reaction in the theater changed instantly.
Several women screamed.
"OH MY GOD!"
A loud whistle came from somewhere near the camera.
"DAMN, CAVILL!"
The person recording laughed while trying to keep the phone steady.
Blood ran from the corner of Superman's mouth, but he was not looking at Batman.
He was staring upward.
[0:13]
A massive mechanical gate stood in front of them.
It began to open.
THOOM.
Blinding white light poured through the widening gap.
The theater audience erupted again.
Batman slowly forced himself to his feet.
[0:18]
The music exploded.
Rapid shots flashed across the screen.
Superman was smashed through the side of an enormous alien structure.
Batman fired his grappling gun across an arena while explosions erupted behind him, swinging between falling chunks of machinery.
A gigantic chained creature threw back its head and roared.
"WHAT IS THAT?"
Another shot.
Lobo flew through the air on his motorcycle, laughing wildly as weapons fire followed him.
The theater completely lost it.
"LOBO!"
"LET'S FUCKING GO!"
The camera shook violently as the person filming started cheering too.
Another flash.
Batman and Superman stood back-to-back in the center of an enormous arena while dozens of alien warriors slowly surrounded them.
Batman raised his fists.
Superman clenched his hands.
Then everything went silent.
A shadowed figure sat upon an immense throne.
Two red eyes opened in the darkness.
[0:25]
A deep voice filled the theater.
"Welcome to Warworld."
The audience erupted again.
Batman looked toward Superman.
Superman glanced back.
Batman, exhausted:
"You have a plan?"
Superman gave the slightest smile.
"Usually that's your job."
The theater laughed and cheered.
[0:29]
Batman and Superman charged forward together.
A wall of alien warriors rushed toward them.
Just before impact:
CUT TO BLACK.
The logo slammed onto the screen.
WORLD'S FINEST
The entire theater exploded into applause.
People were shouting over one another while the person filming lowered the phone slightly.
The video ended with the camera shaking wildly as the audience continued cheering.
