I sat back down on the chair and crossed my legs to face Kaito, who was visibly less amused than he was a moment ago.
"So… I suppose we can start with what plan you have?"
He scowled, "Not so fast. I need to know if the creature is with you or not."
I made a motion with my fingers, indicating he was still missing something if he wanted to talk about that.
He scowled but did not complain as he picked up one of the Credit Chips that he had placed in front of me earlier to stick it back into his personal terminal before pulling it back out again.
I wordlessly picked it up to plug it into my Codex, watching my Credits go up by a hundred million before pulling it out to nod at him.
"Yes, I do have the creature on board my ship."
Kaito let out a breath, "I see… I assume you won't tell me how you managed to hide that from the investigators and I won't ask either… I'll just tell you my plan to screw that bitch."
