A call, though not loud, was clear, and immediately woke up the dazed Wen Yu.
Wen Yu shuddered, as if suddenly awakened.
She had been walking mindlessly along the road, lost in thought, not expecting to run into anyone in the back hills.
This call frightened her quite a bit, and she looked up in terror towards the direction of Baili Xia.
"Who is it?"
"It's me, I'm Xiaxia," Baili Xia said softly, walking towards Wen Yu.
Wen Yu looked carefully and saw it was Baili Xia.
Her hand gently patted her chest, and only then did her heart calm down a bit.
"You scared me, what are you doing on the back hill so late?"
Baili Xia gave a slight smile, walked over, and stared at Wen Yu's somewhat pale face tonight.
"I came to exercise, it's a habit I've developed."
Seeing Wen Yu's eyes slightly moist, she asked, "Mrs. Wen, what's wrong? Are you upset?"
Wen Yu was momentarily stunned, turning slightly to wipe her eyes.
"It's nothing, just some family trivia."
