Turning around, she gazed at Mu Xiaojiu's shadowy figure in the darkness. She smirked dismissively.

Mu Xiaojiu said nothing. He simply gave her a deep look before abruptly turning and walking toward the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Baili Xia bit her lip, thinking he was leaving, but unexpectedly, he stopped when he reached the window.
Looking at his watch for a moment, he suddenly opened the floor-to-ceiling window and leaned against the frame.
With a crisp snap, he lit a cigarette he'd somehow taken out and began smoking leisurely.
Baili Xia glared fiercely at his back and moved to turn on the light.
