"I can see that." Baili Xia let out a sigh, slowly got up from the couch, and sat up straight.
Looking at Ning An Ran kneeling on the ground, she felt somewhat troubled.
"What kind of image is this? You are Miss Sun of the Mu family, while I am nothing now."
"Xiaxia, don't talk about yourself like that. Are you still angry with me?" Ning An Ran became anxious, her tears sliding down again.
Baili Xia raised her hand, massaging her temples, only to feel a constant throbbing pain there all evening.
She took a deep breath, trying hard to regulate her breathing before looking at Ning An Ran again, feeling truly bored.
"Get up. Why are you kneeling before me? You haven't done anything to wrong me."
"Since you are Baili Yang's granddaughter, I should be the one apologizing to you."
She exhaled again and, before Ning An Ran could speak, interjected: "However, I won't apologize, as I've done nothing wrong."
