The six Priests stared at the Demon Lord in disbelief.
They had actually managed to push it back.
For a brief moment, they wanted to celebrate. They had expected the Demon Lord to be powerful, but they hadn't expected their combined attacks to have such a difficult time suppressing it.
Even after using Holy Water, blessed silver needles, purification techniques, barriers, and Divine Binding together, they had only managed to force it backward.
And yet, they had succeeded.
At least, that was what they thought.
The Demon Lord slowly lowered its head… Then it laughed.
The sound was almost like a growl, but it quickly grew louder until it echoed throughout the entire underground chamber.
Elysara's expression changed.
"What's so funny?"
The Demon Lord didn't answer immediately.
Instead, it looked down at its own body.
