The dark mist continued to spread around the Mist Shelter, making it increasingly difficult for the defenders to see what was happening outside the walls.
The situation was becoming quite troublesome.
Although the turrets continued to fire toward the approaching Demons, most of their attacks were now being aimed blindly since the fog had become too thick for the soldiers to properly identify their targets.
At the very least, only those with high-level detection abilities could sense the enemy's presence. Every now and then, an explosion could be seen in the distance, followed by the screams of Demons, but the defenders could no longer tell how much damage they were actually doing.
"Keep firing! Don't let them get close!"
"Where are the Warlocks?!"
"We can't see them!"
"Watch the barriers! They're attacking from multiple directions!"
The priests were already struggling to maintain the Aegis Barrier.
