The Great World War had finally come to an end.
The Allied Forces stood victorious.
Every enemy Mana Core Magus had either perished on the battlefield or been relentlessly hunted down to the ends of the world. Those who escaped the initial defeat soon discovered there was nowhere left to run. One by one, they were found and killed.
Yet victory had come at a terrible price. The fighting within the Great Labyrinth had been especially bloody and brutal. For the Allied Forces, what began as an army of nearly five hundred thousand soldiers was reduced to less than one hundred thousand survivors.
The corridors of the labyrinth had become rivers of blood. The three hundred thousand devils participating in the battle had been mostly slaughtered. Some escaped. The hundred and fifty thousand cultists who had aided them met a similar fate, many being executed in the aftermath of the war.
