The Tower of Lightning stood loftily in the sky, with the clouds slowly dispersing around its peak.
But on the far east of this tower was another tall edifice that was just as high, and from its upper balconies, one could see the distant Tower of Lightning. Unlike the tower that had been surrounded by dark clouds, this one was constantly bright. Numerous furnaces, blazing forges, and rivers of lava surrounded the area, making it a very dangerous place to wander into.
This was the Tower of Flames.
And inside, a gathering of several prominent individuals had occurred because of the recent events that had transpired.
A simple school tournament had led to a great scandal with numerous casualties. Several promising students from noble families had been slain, and the surviving families could not swallow the insult of seeing their sons and daughters die in front of the entire academy.
There was also great rage because the judge who had administered the event had his family attacked.
