Crystal did not know what her soul had looked like before the appearance of the burning sun from the soul of Adam.
But all that Crystal once had was the constant freezing within her soul, a world of ice that stretched endlessly without change, one that had no clouds nor any form of water, where there was no movement to speak of, only the ceaseless fall of snow that buried everything in a quiet, unchanging stillness.
It was only when the Fire of the Dragon appeared that movement was born within this Soul Realm.
When Crystal received the Fire Soul, it was implanted into a world that no longer even held its ice, for she had drained all her life source to save Adam, leaving behind a barren emptiness that could not sustain even its own cold, and it was only after the flames had taken root within that hollow space that the ice returned, reclaiming what once belonged to her.
