The Moon Bow stood on top of a tree, staring intensely at the tower. He was already gripping his bow, ready to draw it the moment he saw any movement.
"They will come for the beast today. I'm going to kill them as soon as the beasts assemble." The Moon Bow's expression turned grim. He made sure to erase his presence as much as possible so that no beasts would find him and continue their way toward Clovis.
Clovis, on the other hand, split his team according to the original plan. To pull the beasts, he didn't need a lot of people. He brought only Aileen with him.
Aileen leaped from one tree to another, eliminating the beasts that would try to make a noise.
Clovis, on the other hand, conserved his energy as much as possible.
They finally reached the spot where Aileen had retreated previously. As she said, the density of the beasts staying in the area had increased drastically. There were simply close to no gaps to even pass it without making a noise.
