Clovis managed to send forth a sword strike, but for some reason, the strength suddenly depleted rapidly, turning it into a normal Overlord Slayer.

The deer let out a cry, but the Overlord Slayer only produced a small wound instead of cutting the legs.
"!!!" Clovis widened his eyes in surprise. This was outside his calculations. He thought he could take down those legs, causing the deer to fall in his direction.
However, the deer ended up enduring it. Its body was swaying a bit, but it managed to stabilize its form.
The deer kicked Clovis, but the latter managed to jump up, barely dodging the kick. The deer skillfully pushed down its legs, which caused the ground to shatter.
Clovis' balance would be thrown off by the sudden change.
"Clovis?!" Kanaria noticed something was wrong. After fighting alongside him the whole time, Kanaria realized that Clovis actually wanted to cut the two right legs instead of injuring them.
