As Emmi and Leng Kai leave the hospital, Emmi's phone rings. She reaches into her purse and hesitates because she doesn't usually answer unknown numbers. She decides not to answer but before she can put the phone back into her purse it rings again.
Reluctantly answering she hears her cousin's shrill voice, " This is all your fault you need to get me out of here. If it work for you I wouldn't be stuck in this terrible place! "
Emmi has a puzzled expression, "Slow down I have no idea what you're talking about… what place… where are you? What does that have to do with me?"
Chen Chloe's hand trembles as she holds onto the phone while furtively looking at the fat bald janitor leaning on a mop not far away. She had to give him her gold bracelet to convince him to let her out of the room to see her mother and then use his phone.
The janitor points to his watch, "Five more minutes." The bracelet is not worth losing my job.
