At the clinic, Bai Meilin sits on an examination table and her voice is tinged with annoyance, "I told you there is nothing wrong with me."
The doctor opens Bai Meilin's eye and shines a light then replies,"Miss Bai, I haven't finished my examination. You still need to have a CAT scan to make sure your brain isn't injured. Your brother instructed me to be thorough."
Bai Meilin rolls her eyes, "I told you the person I was with protected my head. I don't need a CAT scan. I need to see if he has arrived safely and is being treated."
"No one else will be coming. This clinic isn't a place where anyone can be treated."
"Jiang Yi is my savior, of course he deserves to be treated here."
Impatient to see him, she slides off the table, "Where is the man who brought me? I want to speak to him."
The woman's face contorts in anger, "Bai Meilin! I don't have time for your wilful behavior. Get back on the examination table."
