They had already passed by the sea, but they still hadn't detected any large sea creatures yet, so they were probably somewhere else or they were too deep in the water.
But when they passed by the other land, they noticed that it was actually barren.
The land wasn't that big, so they roamed around it a bit, and from the zoomed-in photo, even the land doesn't look healthy at all as they hadn't seen anything growing yet.
Storm also detected that there was a bit of poison remaining on the surface as it was carried by the wind; that's why it was easily detected by Storm.
They didn't linger and continued, but after a minute, they saw another smaller island which was also barren.
All the islands that they had passed by afterwards were also barren, just like the first island that they had seen.
After passing those islands, they didn't pass other lands for another 10 minutes before they arrived at another land.
