Ziah just looked at him and he disappeared from the room, 'What's she feeling? Why does he feel like someone important in her life ' she rubbed off the feeling and suddenly a new thought came in 'what's she? How did she kill those weird things? How? What's making her this way? Why was she angry when she saw that Raven was in danger?' she thought and no answer came.
"Okay, am not okay? Am not sick but am just not the same weak girl, I have powers and it only comes when Raven's in danger. Ooh what's this?" She pulled her hair and tried closing her eyes and opened them quickly and sat. " The only thing I have to know now is that I am STRONG, POWERFUL AND there are people who actually care for me here. I should adjust and give them the same care they're giving me" and she slid on the bed to sleep.
"Tell me how did Ziah end up there with you? What happened and why were you there alone in the first place Raven" Queen Samantha asked with worry and anger all together .
"I don't know she just appeared and slashed all the beasts in one move, she's just so powerful mom. Wasn't she with you how did she come there?" Raven said
"She just started glowing and she said she feels danger around and after the soldier came in to tell us about you she disappeared. I guess she can feel you and where you are?" Queen Samantha explained and added a question at the end and she started talking again "is it your bond? Even if it's your bond it must be a unique one, it's rare for bonds to be like this. Oh didn't you bite her already? You must complete the mating soon you know that?"
"I can't just rush her to complete the mating process mom, for a relationship to work it needs love. Without love nothing will be fine, and am not looking to spend my life with someone who doesn't love me" Raven explained seriously
"Eeeh! I didn't know you were this romantic? You got me surprised for a minute, well I really don't know my son?" The queen teased Raven and he was getting a bit uncomfortable with the teasing so he turned to leave but Queen Samantha caught his wrist
"Listen you just need to make her love you, it's not hard just be you and a little romantic. You're very loveable you know and am sure you're soulmates " the queen talked very politely and she let go of his wrist and he disappeared.
Raven went to the highest part of the castle and started thinking about what his mom said, how can she make her love him. Ooh how did his life come to this ruckus, him Raven thinking on how to make a girl love him just sounded stupid. Who in Morekvia didn't know the handsome Raven, their vampire warrior, even the word perfect couldn't explain his awesomeness. Raven was the man of every girl's dream and he was always chased by women he never chased them. Now he has to chase and funny he wasn't angry but confused as to how he'll woo a girl, and how did he catch feeling so quick? Is it because she's his mate?. No he has to do this, she has to be his future queen, she has to stay in his life. She now means the universe to him. A smile curved on his amazing face.
In the dark kingdom, those who escaped from the fight were telling their king what they saw.
"Your highness, she's powerful. I've never seen anyone as powerful as her am afraid but I think even your powers are no match to her power" explained one soldier with a worried face and King Aston stood up with anger.
"You dare to compare my powers with anybody here, don't you know I am the only powerful being here. Who's that creature that made you doubt my power? WHO'S IT, TELL ME NOW!" he shouted at his subjects and they were trembling from fear
"We don't know but she came when we were about to kill prince Raven, she only did one attack and all of the beasts died. She was emitting such a strong and dangerous aura, am afraid now we'll have a hard time killing the prince because of her" the soldier explained again
"I want more details about her and her powers, what's her relationship with that vampire prince. Where did she come from? Who the hell is she? I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING,GO NOW BRING ME INFORMATION NOWWWW!!!" Aston shouted like a maniac at his subjects and he hit a pillar which made the room tremble.
The next day Queen Samantha was having breakfast with Ziah, and the Queen brought up the mate topic.
"Darling, I think you're being overprotective of Raven because he's your mate. I feel your destinies were meant to cross each other," the queen said
"Do all mates be protective like this, they sense when their mates are in danger?" Ziah asked while sipping her tea
"Actually no, this is the first time it has happened. Most of the mates have normal connection, but royal mates example me and the king can only sense some feelings like happiness and sad. But you and Raven it's weird, you even knew where he was and you sensed danger before it happened. That must be special bond, and the funny thing is that you haven't even finished the bonding ritual and you're connection is already this powerful " queen spoke with nothing but astonishment and Ziah was contemplating her words and found she wasn't lying.
"So like marriage?" Ziah blurted out
"Yeah a binding ritual is like marriage, then a bonding night and the bonding is over. But it's not like your human marriage, here it's slightly different. For the bonding is the most important thing, so the ritual is made to make sure it builds the relationship to a strong one and that no one or anything will break it . But if the person you're trying to bond with is not your destined mate the ritual won't happen " said the queen
"Okay, am thinking about it always since you started telling me. Umh! I can't do it" Ziah spoke calmly but she and the queen didn't know that Raven was at the door and after he heard Ziah say she can't do it, he got angry and disappeared. But Ziah wasn't finished talking so Raven only misunderstood her
"It's not like I hate Raven, am very grateful because he brought me into a new life, a new identity and new world. Strange world but better from the one I lived in before, and honestly speaking Raven is very important to me. Just staying with him for few days has got me liking him, he's a nice guy. I honestly can say I love him and I don't know if it's because of the bond he made after biting me or not. But I believe it's better if I get to know him first and he should know me too" Ziah spoke with nothing but honesty and sincerity that made the Queen and Emma who was standing from a far admire this human.
"I understand my dear and am so happy that he already means a lot to you, my Raven's lucky to have you. I support that you must know each other before everything, come on enough talk about mate and bonds. We need to start training you on how to trigger and control those powers. What do you say dear?" Talked the Queen and Ziah only nodded.
Later Ziah was feeling a strange feeling like Anger but it wasn't from her and she sensed it must be from Raven, but why is he angry. As she was walking to her room she saw a beautiful garden but the anger feelings came in again. So she went straight to her room only to find an empty room but suddenly at the bathroom door stood Raven with a towel on his down part of the body, his well structured Abs were displayed before her, his wet hair dripping water on his handsome face, his muscles showing off. Ooh he's just the perfect view to die for, Ziah was dumbfounded and brain stopped. She was watching the man Infront of her like she was seeing a miracle happen and Raven started walking towards her but she wasn't moving as she was still in shock. But after Raven was just Infront of her, she started feeling the anger boiling up and she flinched. This made Raven shocked ' Why's she flinching? Is she scared of me?"
" Listen you don't have to flinch and be scared of me, am not going to do anything to you without your will. Am not gonna force you to do the bonding ritual till your ready and if you're not then am not going to force you also. If you have someone you like just go to them" he explained coldly with a hint of anger and jealous in his tone. So now she understood so he was angry because of this bonding issue and did he think she flinched because she's scared of him? No she's not scared of him, actually she feels safe with him. She looks at him and he turns to leave, she doesn't speak anything.
Later she was in the room with Emma and she was feeling down, so Emma tried to cheer her up.
"Your highness, would you like to try this cake it's our specialty here in Morekvia" Emma handed a piece of cake to Ziah and she took it,
"What are the ingredients?" Ziah asked
"Happiness, so you must lift your face and be happy after eating that cake" Emma said with a smile and Ziah took a piece and it tasted amazing. She gave a smile
"So now can you tell me what's bothering you? I can share advices, I can listen am more than just an assistant" Emma spoke
"Umh it's Raven, he's angry as he thinks am scared of him or maybe I don't want him" Ziah spoke with a sad face every time she remembers Raven's face when he spoke to her with anger
"Oh! So why don't you just tell him that you don't hate him and you're not scared of him but you just want to know him more" Emma spoke like a mother advising her daughter
Ziah just sighed
