Fahui sat on top of Naga, looking dignified in his Buddhist appearance. The Kasaya draped over him, the Tin Staff resting on Naga's head, and various treasures all indicated that Fahui hadn't been idle over these three days.
"Are the three of us enough? Don't we need to bring these temple protectors?" Wang Linchi asked, looking at the Headless Ghost beside him.
"The duty of a protector is to guard the temple. The God of White Wind wouldn't require such a large entourage," Fahui replied, seeming unconcerned about the God of White Wind.
Wang Linchi did not question this. After all, during these three days, the sometimes audible, sometimes inaudible voice of the God of White Wind was enough proof that the other party lacked sufficient power. Perhaps the previous command for demons and ghosts to attack the city had already exhausted its last bit of strength. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been such quiet up to this point.
