Of course, due to the suppression of Divine Power, the Skeleton Monster's damage couldn't be fully inflicted. Even if Chen Mo possessed 10 points of Divine Power, it could, at most, offset 10 points of the opponent's Divine Power. The opponent, however, could still effectively use their 10 points of Divine Power. As previously stated, for every 1-point difference in Divine Power, all resulting effects are diminished by 1%. This reduction applies to all effects, including damage inflicted. In other words, 10 points of Divine Power are enough to reduce damage by 10%. If the difference is 100 points, it can directly nullify all damage. Naturally, the current opponent didn't possess such high Divine Power; a mere 10-point difference wouldn't cause a qualitative change.
