"I understand," Nie Shangheng said. "Junior brothers and sisters just briefly mentioned what happened in Xuanpu. But Junior Sister Nan didn't say much. I would like to ask Mr. Pei, has the sect leader not come out? How is he faring?"
"Master Lian has the Dragon Heart of the Zhushi Sect implanted in his body, and has merged with the corpse of the 'Fei' in Xuanpu, unable to separate," Pei Ye said. "He said he would stay inside and try his best to hold it off. The 'Fei' is dead, and wicked beasts or pollution shouldn't be able to harm him much, but being in the collapsing Xuanpu, it's hard to predict the outcome. Things from deeper within might also arrive."
Nie Shangheng was silent for a moment and nodded, "Since defending Xuanpu, I have never seen the sect leader again."
