Sunlight poured down from above. Pei Ye was astounded to find that the Mass Jade Mountain had already torn open the "sky" of Xuanpu.
The Mass Jade Mountain was never meant to be buried in the dark depths of the earth; it was meant to stand proudly and brightly beneath the sky.
"Jiao" also looked up: "It seems faster than expected; I thought it would take an hour to establish Mass Jade Mountain."
"How long did you think it would take?"
"Three days? Three months? Three years?" Jiao laughed, "No one really knows."
"According to the prophecy in the Dream of Queen Mother of the West, once Mass Jade Mountain is established, I will ascend with Xi Tingxin and take my position."
"That's right," Jiao said, "No need to be nervous. Xi Tingxin, Immortal Authority... The difficult parts were completed last year, this should be the easiest part—not that you're one to enjoy such things."
It smiled at him.
"Hmm?"
