Contrary to what one might imagine, ascending the broad and straight steps and passing through the mountain gate and the expansive "Guilan Plate," the "Tianshan" that meets the eye is not an expansive array of grandiose palaces and buildings.
According to memory, going straight ahead and climbing upwards should lead to the highest Prop Sky Pillar with a two-mile wide flat top. It is said that only significant events, like Chief Ming asking about the sword, would gather all the disciples on it.
However, the Tianshan disciples did not head in that direction; instead, they bypassed it and the entire area meant for receiving outside guests, moving deeper inward.
